Contest: April 12-15 (Sunday - Wednesday)

We recommend arriving in Las Cruces on Saturday and flying out on Thursday.

Sunday Schedule:
1-4 PM:  Check in, Bench setup
4-6:15 PM: Welcome, Team Mixer, Flash Pitch Round I
6:15-7:40: Dinner, Speaker, Mandatory Safety Meeting

The F&R museum is east of the NMSU campus, off of University Avenue. 

Airports

• Nearest Airport: El Paso (ELP) - 60 miles SE of Las Cruces.
• Alternative Airport: Albuquerque, NM (ABQ). 190 miles N of Las Cruces.
  • Often less expensive than flying into ELP.
  • If you have a large group and are renting a van, it might save money. 
  • Advanced Air flies from ABQ to the (very small) Las Cruces Airport only on Sun, Mon, Thu, & Fri. These limited days may not be helpful for contest attendance. 
• Grand Canyon Plans? Fly into Phoenix (PHX), drive to Las Cruces, then head to the Grand Canyon before flying home. One Midwest team makes it a week-long adventure—you’re already out West! 

Ground Transportation

• Rental vehicles are available through major car rental companies at ELP and in Las Cruces. 
• There is no shuttle from ELP to Las Cruces.
